OFFICIAL SBR RACING CALENDAR FOR 2024: MORE RACES TO BE ADDED!
- US Pro Cup - Fayetteville, AR (April 3rd-7th, 2024)
- The U.S. Pro Cup was established in 2009, with the mission of bringing high caliber cross-country & short track MTB racing to the United States. Their goal is to provide today's Olympians and tomorrow's future stars a racing environment to hone their skills and fitness as they pursue elite racing aspirations. However the Pro Cup is not just for the elite, we also offer a wide variety of Non UCI racing categories welcoming all age and skill levels.
- Lost Valley Luau - Defiance, MO (Sunday April 21st, 2024)
- Lost Valley Luau has been the "Season Opener" for St Louis mountain bike racing for over a decade. As such, the early Spring date often brings a twist to trail conditions (prepare for the worst, hope for the best) as the Race is run rain or shine. The Lost Valley Luau is raced on the Lost Valley Trail, an 11 mile loop with a mixture of flowing singletrack and doubletrack punctuated with rock formations and natural springs. The race is run counter-clockwise as it puts most of the climbs on the doubletrack portion and the descents on the singletrack, and finishes at the top of the Drop-In Connector at the Hamburg Trail. This final 300 yard stretch to the Finish has an average grade of 7.8% and will surely mix-up any finishers racing head to head!
- The Heartbreaker Missouri State XC MTB Championship - Creve Coeur, MO (Sunday June 9th, 2024)
- For 2024 the Heartbreaker MTB Race brings the Missouri State Championship back to the St Louis area for the first time in 8 years. The Heartbreaker MTB Race is raced on Bootlegger's Run Trail, a 5.5 mile loop of smooth, fast, and flowy singletrack where tight twists and blind turns make up for it's lack of technical terrain. This makes it a perfect race course, as it can be ridden as fast or as slow as a rider's skills allow.
- The Dirt Crit XC MTB Series - Valley Park, MO (Thursday Nights from June 20th - August 8th)
- The Dirt Crits have been providing the St Louis area with Short Track style racing (XCC) for almost 20 years. These 30-45 minute races are some of the highest intensity XC races you will find, but don't be scared - there are "B" races where Beginner to Intermediate riders will still have a blast. As you'd expect, the Dirt Crits race on a 1 mile loop where twists and turns far outnumber the straightaways.
- The Chequamegon 40 MTB Race - Cable, WI (Saturday September 14th, 2024)
- Beginning in 1983 with only 27 cyclists, Chequamegon has now grown to become one of the more revered off-road MTB festivals in the country. This 40 mile point to point race travels from downtown Hayward, WI over the famed American Birkebeiner Ski Trail and along picturesque trails of varying terrain finishing at the Great Hall in Cable, WI.
